Internet dating horror stories
Friday, March 7th, 2008There are several instances where dating did not go over so well and that has lead to dating horror stories. We have all had them, and shared them and even laughed at them after a while but the fact is something went wrong during the date. What do you do when you have a bad date? You except it and go on. Leave on good terms because you never know when your paths will cross again. In order to understand horror dates, here are some examples
This is funny and tragic at the same time. A man and a woman each began seeking online friends, under different names, of course, and ended up with each other! This revelation caused them to divorce. The irony is that their personal profiles flagged them as compatible, and rather than laugh it off, they chose to end their marriage.
There are many, many stories where the online person is not who he says he is, the photos are several years out of date, or have a felonious past. These occurrences tend to happen more frequently on free internet dating services, because there are limited resources for identity confirmation or security checks.
Then there’s the story of a man who romanced a “big girl” who turned out to be an undisclosed transsexual. This was revealed in a hotel room as they were about to become intimate.
A man who dated women he met through the internet, only had intentions to steal her credit card and use it for fraudulent purposes.
